Vanlife Iceland is an adventure worthy your first trip after quarantine. It's a 7-day road trip around Iceland, exploring the majestic nature and beauty of this volcanic island. We drive and explore by day and gather around the campfire to share stories at night. This event is designed to be corona safe, 100% outdoor and plenty of space. Got questions? Waterfalls
One more majestic than the other. You'll see waterfalls of all types, heights and all angles. Most of them are just by the road for easy access.

Glaciers
Iceland has the biggest glacier in Europe. Along the road you'll see ice bergs floating by on lagoons and the big glacier tongues coming down from the mountains.
BBQ & Bonfires
At night, we gather up around the camp fire and share stories about the day
Hot Springs
Iceland is gifted with water geothermal heat. Together they make hot springs. Some are next to the road, others well hidden and less known. We will take you to the best ones!
Whale watching
We set sails for a whale safari with chance of seeing Humpbacks, Blue Whale, Dolphins and Minke whales

Each van is equipped with a small kitchen, fridge, running water and heater. You'll also get a gas BBQ, camping table is & chairs.

What airport should I fly into?
Book flights to Reykjavik International airport (KEF).
You should book a flight that lands no later than 15:00 on Sunday 23rd August and depart after 12:00 Sunday 30th August.

How does the testing on arrival work?
Iceland are testing everyone arriving into the country for Covid-19. You will get tested on the airport and the result will be given to you within 24h. If you are positive you will be forced to go into quarantine. For full info on rules of arrivals into the country read here.

Which nationalities are allowed to enter Iceland?
Borders reopened on June 15 to visitors holding passports (or valid residency) from EU/EFTA countries and UK.
What if my country changes travel restrictions and I can't come?
Your ticket is fully refundable up until 14 days before departure. Just let us know if you can't travel for any reason and we will refund you 100%.
What is the current Covid-19 risk in Iceland
Currently all restaurants, shops, hotels etc are open as usual in Iceland. There's no lock down and in general life is back to normal.

What if a second wave of Covid-19 happens?
If Iceland close the borders or lock down the society we will postpone the trip and refund 100% of what you have paid.
What about showers and toilet?
We will stay at a camp site every night which have showers and toilets.
By law in Iceland it is forbidden to over night outside of camp sites in a camper van.
Do I have to follow the schedule?
We will recommend a route and host activities every day. You are free to choose which ones you want to join and which ones not to attend. Every day you are free to drive your own route and make detours as you like.
